1. Who We Are

TruePostings (“we,” “us,” “our”) operates the website at truepostings.com (the “Service”), which aggregates job postings from third-party sources and provides search, email alerts, and AI-powered resume matching to help job seekers (“you,” “users”) find relevant employment opportunities.

TruePostings is operated by Ashvernworks LLC, based in Texas, United States.

2. What TruePostings Is — and Is Not

• We are not an employer. TruePostings does not employ, hire, or make any hiring decisions. We are not a party to any employment relationship, application, interview, or offer between you and any company whose postings appear on our Service.
• We are not a staffing agency or recruiter. We do not represent employers, and we do not guarantee that any job listed is currently available, accurately described, or will result in an interview or offer.
• Job listings come from third-party sources. We aggregate postings from company career pages, applicant tracking systems (such as Greenhouse, Lever, and Ashby), and third-party job data providers (such as Adzuna). We do not independently verify the accuracy, completeness, or current availability of any listing. Postings may be outdated, incorrect, or removed by the source without our immediate knowledge.
• We use AI to assist with matching. For subscribers on our Pro tier, we use artificial intelligence (including third-party AI models) to analyze an uploaded resume and match it against available job postings, and to generate a short explanation of why a given posting may be relevant. This is a recommendation tool, not a guarantee of fit, qualification, or any employment outcome. You are responsible for independently evaluating any job posting before applying.

3. Accounts

• You must provide a valid email address to create an account. We use passwordless (“magic link”) sign-in and, where offered, third-party sign-in (e.g., Google) — you do not create or store a password with us directly for magic-link sign-in.
• You are responsible for maintaining control of the email account or third-party account used to sign in, since access to that account may allow access to your TruePostings account.
• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts used for fraud, abuse, violation of these Terms, or attempts to circumvent our systems (including automated scraping of our Service).

4. Subscriptions and Billing

• TruePostings offers a free tier and paid subscription tiers (“Plus” and “Pro”), billed monthly through our payment processor, Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details ourselves.
• Pro tier includes AI-powered features. By subscribing to Pro, you acknowledge that resume matching and match explanations are generated using artificial intelligence, that AI-generated output may contain errors or inaccuracies, and that the specific capabilities of this feature may be updated, changed, or limited over time as we improve the Service. We will provide notice of material changes to these AI features’ functionality before your next renewal where required by law.
• Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account’s billing management page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not provide partial refunds for unused time within a billing period except where required by law.
• Price changes. We will provide advance notice of any price increase before it applies to your next billing cycle.
• Applicable sales tax, where required, is calculated and added at checkout based on your location.

5A. Resume Tailoring (Premier Tier)

If you subscribe to Premier, you may use our resume-tailoring feature, which produces a revised version of your resume intended to align with a specific job posting.

• What the feature does and does not do. This feature is designed to only reorder, re-emphasize, and rephrase content already present in your uploaded resume — it is designed not to invent skills, employers, dates, or achievements that are not in your original resume. However, this feature uses artificial intelligence, and AI-generated text can still contain errors, omissions, or unintended phrasing.
• Your responsibility. You are solely responsible for reviewing any AI-tailored resume before submitting it to any employer or third party. We do not verify the accuracy of the final tailored document, and you should not rely on it without your own careful review.
• No guarantee of outcome. Use of this feature does not guarantee an interview, offer, or any employment outcome.

5. Your Resume and Personal Data

• If you use the Pro tier, you may upload a resume. You represent that you own the content of your resume or have the right to upload it, and that the information in it is accurate.
• We use your resume solely to generate job matches and related recommendations for your own account. We do not sell your resume data, and we do not share it with employers, recruiters, or any third party except the AI service providers strictly necessary to generate matches (see our Privacy Policy for details).
• You may delete your uploaded resume at any time from your account settings. Deletion removes the resume file and its associated data from our systems.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to scrape, bulk-download, or systematically extract job listings or other data from the Service without our written permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or its networks
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity
• Upload any resume or content containing another person’s personal information without their consent

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, and underlying software, is owned by TruePostings or its licensors. Job posting content itself remains the property of the respective employer or source; we make no ownership claim over third-party job listing content.

8. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ALL JOB LISTINGS AND AI-GENERATED MATCHES OR EXPLANATIONS, IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF ACCURACY, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT ANY JOB LISTING IS CURRENT, ACCURATE, OR THAT USE OF THE SERVICE WILL RESULT IN EMPLOYMENT.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRUEPOSTINGS AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY, INCOME, OR DATA, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you (e.g., via email or an in-app notice) and, where required by law, request renewed acceptance before you continue using the Service.
